Dawn Geronimo Terkla is the Associate Provost of Institutional Research, Assessment, and Evaluation. Before coming to Tufts in 1985, Dawn held positions at Harvard University and the University of California at Berkeley. She has a doctorate in higher education research from Harvard University and her research interests include college-choice decisions, financial aid issues, and assessment. She is a member of several National Center for Education Statistics technical review panels, is a past President of both North East Association of Institutional Research (NEAIR) and the Association of Institutional Research (AIR), and is a past chair of the Executive Committee of the National Postsecondary Education Cooperative.
Stephanie L. Topping is the Associate Director. Stephanie received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University in May of 2001 and her M.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University in May of 2003. Before joining the staff at Tufts, Stephanie worked as a Senior Consultant at Navigant Consulting, Inc., a specialized independent consulting firm providing construction litigation consulting services to government agencies and legal counsel.
Karen Schreiner is a Research Analyst. Karen received her B.A. in Sociology and a Certificate in Human Relations and Work from Saint Anselm College in May of 2004. She received her M.A. in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire in September of 2007. Before joining the staff at Tufts, Karen worked at the University of New Hampshire as a Teaching Assistant for the Sociology Department and as a Research Assistant at the Carsey Institute.
Melanie Jenkins is a Research Analyst. Melanie received her B.A. in Psychology from Christopher Newport University in 2003. She has been a member of the United States Coast Guard Reserves since 2001. Before joining Tufts, Melanie worked at the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment at Northern Virginia Community College as a Statistical Analyst and at MayaTech Corporation as a Research Assistant.
Meredith Billings is a Research Analyst. Meredith received her B.S. in Neuroscience from the College of William and Mary in May 2004 and her M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Maryland in May 2008. Before joing the staff at Tufts, she served as an AmeriCorps *VISTA in the Alliance of Civic Engagement at Middlebury College. Meredith also worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and a Graduate Intern in the Office of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment at the University of Maryland.
Jennifer Reid is a Research Analyst. Jennifer received her B.A. in Psychology from Salem State College in 1996 and her Master's in Public Administration from Bridgewater State College in 2002. Before joining Tufts, Jennifer worked as the Project Manager at Bridgewater State College's Institute for Regional Development for five years. Additionally, Jennifer is a Visiting Lecturer at Bridgewater State College, teaching in the Political Science department.
Anna Ghosh is a Research and Evaluation Analyst. Anna received her B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College and her M.P.H. from Boston University. She works with multiple project stakeholders to create and implement evaluation plans. She is currently working on the evaluation of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute, a project funded by the National Institutes of Health. Anna's experience includes conducting community-based participatory research and evaluation, coordinating research studies, and facilitating community engagement. She has worked on projects addressing community health topics in and around the cities of Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston. Prior to joining Tufts, Anna worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston University, and the Institute for Community Health.
Susan Storm is the Institutional Research Coordinator. She coordinates Tufts' responses to IPEDS, as well as other requests from both inside and outside the university. She also manages the publication and distribution of the Fact Book. Susan has been at Tufts since 1995.
